Escape to the Blue Mountains this Autumn, one of the most beautiful places to be at this time of year. The nights are crisp and the days are golden as the glorious trees glow with amber hues to mark the turn of the season. The Blue Mountains are at their best.
AUTUMN ART ESCAPE:
Sculpture at Scenic World
Set in the heart of the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains, Sculpture at Scenic World transforms the ancient rainforest into an outdoor canvas showcasing over 35 artworks from local, national and international artists.
Meander along the 2.4 kilometre Scenic Walkway as you take in the stunning artworks and scenery, accessed by the world’s steepest passenger train, the Scenic Railway.
You can top it off with a visit to Sculpture Otherwise, an exhibition of smaller sculptures at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre.

Tickets include unlimited travel on the Scenic Railway, Skyway, Cableway and Walkway, in and Sculpture at Scenic World public events.
Australian-born, internationally renowned visual artist, Guido van Helten has been commissioned to paint a large-scale mural on the eight 20 metre high heritage silos that dominate the local landscape at Portland.
Spectators are welcome to the site to watch the artist at work.

Valley Height Rail Museum has just re-opened after a refurbishment, where visitors can enjoy rides on the 19th century steam engine and carriage. Tickets are included in general admission fees.
